Well, I have memorize part of 'the merchant of Venice' in front of my class in a few days. It's actually the lines they said from the aio episode.
Hmm...let's see if I can make up a poem on the spot.
THE WAYS TO IMPRESS A GIRL:
by Bennett Charles.
Remember that guys don't cry,
and they don't sing,
so rip out your eyeballs in front of her,
shake them and listen to them ring,
[that will work, trust me.]
spill out your guts romanticly,
tare out your liver
drink all the fluids,
that I told you to give her,
rip open the nostrils,
which you use to smell,
and make strange noises,
like the tacos from tabo bell,
Kill her X-boyfriend,
make it painful and slow,
then show her your muscles,
but make sure they aren't like dough, though.
If this won't express her,
then she's not for you,
so go for some other,
that will do everything you like to do,
But remember...
If you ever brake her heart,
then buy her a new one,
at a nearby Walmart, |

Uh..... Nice, BC...... Really.....
Mellissa: See if you can find Offtopic->Writer's Forum There are several poems there, and some of them are actually good. Also, there is some poetry at AIOD (http://www.multimedia-tech.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi) Neverending Story Board -> Beautiful poetry. |

Sadly, some poor gullible individual with girl problems might actually take your advice if they are desperate enough....

| A really good poet who has written some delightfully funny yet clever poems is Guy Westmore Carol. You've got to check out his "The Real Story Of Little Miss Muffet." |

Hawkeye, I don't seem to be able to locate the Offtopic Writer's Forum one, but the AIOD Beautiful poetry was fun! (funny too... really funny )
You may be interested, seeing as you were correcting other people's spelling on that thread... on the fifth page, in your poem, you put the word "speach" it really should be "speech" (I don't have mod abilities, so I couldn't correct it ) |

If Hawkeye permits, I could correct it, although it is a fairly old thread, so perhaps it will not make a difference.. |
