because everyone should see how easy to read it is, how clearly the hebrew and greek is translated into the english that we americans use. When I read it, more than any other version the words come to life in my head...its very vivid. And like i mentioned earlier, its being acclaimed by bible scholars around the country as one of the most well translated versions.

OK, in response to the posts about the KJV not being accurate.........

It is the closest thing out there.......if you want 150% accurate, learn yourself Hebrew and Greek and read the original scrolls.....

Me, I'll keep reading KJV

Peace Out

I've studied Greek before, but it was really hard. It wasn't as hard as Hebrew, though... I couldn't make heads or tails out of Hebrew, whereas I had actually started to understand Greek just a little.

I know. I've tried....it is NOT an easy task...............Hebrew isn't that hard, but I never did finish learning it.

Peace Out

Definitely KJV all the way. It has been good enough for nearly 400 years and is still the best for today!
