I think Bush should go to war with them ,seriously. Just like the old days. When the leader would be at the head of the army slicing his sword in the air. Then we'd have this really cool camera shot of Bush barging through the doors of Hussein's house chopping his head off.

But, I just want Hussein to die quickly. I don't want innocent people dying, but they really need to drop a bomb on the entire Iraq so that his brothers or someting won't decide to attack back. I mean, if America wins this then someone will certainly come back later...

That would be cool to get a photo of Bush with a sord over his head on a Quarter Horse!!!! and the pitcher will have all of the nations of the world and some of the Iraqis all serounding Hussain and his foot men and Bush comes in and wipes out Hussain with one stroke of his sord!!!! and we would take his foot men and throw them in jail and we would make them watch realety T.V. and the Simpsons and that would be Americanized !!!!!!!!!! and for the torcher chamber we would make them watch Sponge Bob Sqaure Pants (which is my favorite show) !!!!!!!!! that would be so awsome, what am I saying that sounds like HEAVEN TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!! Wink

Hmm... well... all I can say is that you people are very, very strange.

Oh, and I can say a lot more, too.

Like: if Bush rode in on horseback in war, you just know that the New York Times headline would scream the next day, "Horseman of Apocalypse Converge on Baghdad," with the subheadline explaining that President Bush was War, Death, Plague and Famine rolled into one! And, uh, ignore the fact that it's hard for a single horseman to "converge" on anything...

Also: Saddam has challenged Bush to a duel -- and a debate hosted by Dan Rather. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking... the duel would be so much less dangerous than an hour with Dan Rather. Oh, and Saddam too... But seriously, that's not how civilized countries fight. We don't throw our leaders into a colluseum and let them fight it out. That's insane. Then again, Saddam's insane. Or is it "Saddam Insane"?

Additionally: war is necessary, but it's still gruesome. It's not entertainment. It's far realer than any so-called reality TV. And while you'll probably be seeing video footage of military action, you don't WANT to see war at its most realistic level. Not that it would hurt for us to see it... perhaps a few of those idiots that hold up placards urging the soldiers to be "honorable" by shooting their commanding officers would feel differently after seeing what the brave men of our armed forces do to keep America free. To give the right to be idiotic, by the way...

And moreover: When Kalhid Shaiek Mohammed was captured and there were questions over whether or not he could be tortured and if so, what the limits would be, I must have seen a dozen editorial cartoons showing Mr. "Mastered the Art of Death but Not That of Brushing His Hair" Mohammed being subjected to the cruelest torture of all: being forced to watch reality TV. Particularly a show called "Joe Millionaire," which, from what I've heard about it, goes beyond the pinnacle of utter absurdity and nonsense.

And furthermore: the murderous monsters of Iraq will never become "Americanized." All they need to get used to is their new home for the rest of their quite possibly short lives: Guantanamo Bay. Or an aircraft carrier in the Arabic Sea. When you're a prisoner of war, you don't become assimilated into the culture of America... but into your new "life" of interrogation and confinement.

And finally: the United States plans to set up a provincial government under General Tommy Franks until a new, democratic Iraqi government can be established. Hopefully, Iraq will never again live under dictators. This is, after all, a war for our safety and that of the world, but also a war of liberation for an oppressed people. May it come soon. And may it end swiftly.

I also hope, though, that however we plan to wage this war, that it will not be underestimated. No matter how sure we are that this will be a quick conflict...or even a longer one, to underestimate the opposition can be deadly.

America is a great and powerful nation, but it should wage this war like any other, and always be prepared for suprises.

I just wanted to mention that, as it just seems to me(at least) to be an important point.

man I thought you candians were supposed to be peacful people and not want eneyone to die including Hussain? but hay im cool with you guys wanting to kill him to ,but your country would hafe to help us out to get Hussain!!!!! which you guys are not showing eney change about the war!!!!!!! and for that im very ticted off!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. we have less than an hour until we go to WAR!!!!!!!!!

If you go to war, we go to war. I don't really want to. I think America should deal with there own problems and Canada stay out of it.
And yo, this 'Canadians don't want people to die' thing is wackoed. Canadians eren't some punks living in igloos living with a radio in their furry hats...man, you got us all wrong. We think Hussein should get hanged and have his guts out on dispay, just like you Americans. Although, we just don't kill anyone for no purpose, we do it calmly and with a decent strategy, as we sit around the fire drinking the wonderful beer Canadians has to offer! Wink
