Just so you know I changed the disscusin and if guys dont what to help Jasmine that is fine *I'm gona miss her mom alot*

It's kind of hard to help someone who doesn't exist...

And you're going to MISS her mom? Well, you can feel sorry for a victim of such a tragedy, but since you never knew this woman, you can't MISS her.

And please, stop insinuating that we don't want to help someone in a terrible situation. We just recognize that the whole thing is fake.

Finally, to Hawkeye: that final statement went a little too far.

I do know Jasmine shes one of my friends .Samual told me that we could help her by doing the FRWD and so I desided to pass it on.

I know Jared has already clarified this, but just to confirm it,
my bro-in-law's friend works for the Red Cross and my
bro-in-law is about to start working for them. They do NOT
track emails and send people money to help them.

IL_Queen, that statement greatly bothers me. I hate to say this about anyone, but you are lying. There's no other way around it. NO ONE is still in the hospital from the events of September 11th, so, regardless of any confusion you may have had about whether or not the Red Cross would donate money if you forwarded an email, you CANNOT know someone whose mother is in the hospital from the World Trade Center attack.

You want to change the topic, but I'm having a hard time doing that. This started out as a case of believing something that wasn't true -- and I'm sure we've all bought into something false at one time or another. But by defending it by claiming personal knowledge, you are very obviously lying and that is not at all appreciated.

Um, IL Queen, I am going to try to be as polite as possible in making this suggestion. This is merely a suggestion, but I think it would be a good one from my experience. What is it? Well, simply put I would suggest for you to admit that you made a mistake(i.e. posting or otherwise buying into an internet hoax) and mabe apologize for yelling at anyone, or otherwise offending them. I think(an once again, I will reiterate that this is only a suggestion) that this would be the best route to take, rather than continuig to justify an utterly pointless position.

I hate being wrong, and I hate admitting it, however, sometimes there comes a time when it is the best thing, and the only thing to do.

I hope I did not sound mean, and if I did, it was not intended as such, but things like this have to come to an end eventually. Poinless arguing is(for lack of a better word) counterproductive.

Yeah!!! Evil or Very Mad

Though actually I got some dumb e-mail warning that I thought was fake, and I just happened to be on snopes.com and discovered that it WAS true, after all... (The 2 British murderer boys, if you're wondering...)

But... yeah, the e-mail tracking thing. IF it's possible, it would be the government doing it or something... not the Red Cross. And... well Jared covered this pretty well. Lying is not becoming of you.

What are we supposed to believe, IL_Queen? You are asking us to believe something that is utterly impossible.

You are telling us that you have a friend who is using an impossible and nonexistant system to get the Red Cross to do something that out of their nature to save a parent who has been dying of blood loss for eighteen months even though that can only go on for a few hours. And you are asking us to believe that there has been some sort of massive media/government coverup to hide that this person exists, as it is reported and besides your statement here, undisputed fact that no one is still hospitalized from injuries sustained in the 9/11 attack. Furthermore, you are telling us that we should believe you when you tell us that hospitals are denying their legal duty of treating a patient regardless of ability to pay (but have had her in the place on their systems for 18 months -- tell me: what is cheaper, keeping a person alive for 18 months in a hospital at costs of $2000+ per day or performing a one-time operation and getting her out of there?) and are getting away with it, that your "friend's" mother was denied the $10 million promised to her as a spouse of a 9/11 victim and that both her and her husband's employers broke the law in not providing insurance for that family, among other things.

Pardon my disbelief, but I'd be just as likely to believe you if you told me that you make weekly trips to Neptune in your car.
