| As shown on www.AIOHQ.com that we may have a new FEMALE Odyssey writer. Her name is April Higgins she is listed under the writer of the new episode "Room Enough For Two". This episode will air March 29, 2003. |

I was wondering how long it would be before someone noticed that :)
April isn't on staff at Focus or anything, she's just an example of a regular fan who finally gets a chance at having their own script recorded. She actually works at the Welcome Center at Focus on the Family, and with the help of Marshal Younger she wrote "Room Enough for Two". I hope fans enjoy her episode

Why are you winking? Why wouldn't we enjoy her episode? Fans seem to have a great talent for writing eps. Nathan Hoobler is the best, if April Higs beats him, I'll be surprised.

Haha the wink wasn't meant to mean anything, I always wink I've read the script and it's a very good slice of life episode, which are always harder to write then epic stories or long arcs (because you have a built in interest). Fans always tend to write larger then life episodes ("The Return of Maxwell!", "Blackgaard Resurfaces and Buys Andromeda!", "Whit gets Married!" and so on...), which while they are fun... aren't what Odyssey is all about. Slice of Life episodes are the hardest thing to write, and it's great April was able to write one the way she did 
Of course this is assuming the acting and everything else came together for the episode... the script was good (I played Whit I think during the readthroughs... hehe, just a side note), and it's possible we'll hear more from her!

Slice of life, that's pretty good. A one-scentence summary would be nice, Shawdowpaw.

| I have a feeling that the writers are trying to make her nice since (now this is another feeling I have.) she probrobly might stay long on the show. The last two eps she was in she was nice. Though, no matter how nice the writers try to make her, her voice will still stay the same.(and I believe her voice is what makes her not very likeable. Its sorta this high pitch whiney sound.) |
