AMEN, AMEN, AMEN to this thread!
seriously though...I've been irritated by the marketing for years...it makes me embarassed to admit to being a fan...which is a shame...cause I'm not at all embarassed by the actual show...it's brilliant! But for all intents and purposes, Focus projects it to be silly little cartoony kid franchise...

I totally agree! I hate how people think Odyssey is a "little kiddy" show. I seriously don't see why they need to keep those elements (like the aforementioned cartoonish pictures). Think about it- most of the people on any AIO board I've seen are over 10. Some are over 20.
And yes, Odyssey needs those creepy types of shows. I love those! |

So if the majority of the listeners (at least on this board) are over 13, why still keep the "kiddy" elements? I'm not saying that they should change the show drastically. I'm saying that they should get rid of some things (the cartoonish pictures, Chris's overacting, etc.) I mean, the episodes right now are listened to and liked by people who are over 20, so what makes people think it's a show strictly for kids?
The show isn't just listened to by kids- they should change some things. |

hey, put me on the adult list too...(believe it or not)
yeah, I mean I think the biggest and simplest change that could be made is to reinvent the covers (at least the future ones)...that would do ALOT to improve the public image... |

Alas and alak,I am not an honest-to-goodness "legal" adult until next year.
Really, it doesn`t bother me too much. I think there are quite a few people my age here and elsewhere that listen to Odyssey.
Point made, I will quit typing now.
Really.
Honestly.....I promise!
Ok, I`m done now.......... |
