I'm divided over this question. While I think it's nice to bring up characters who have moved on, there has to be a balance. If Eugene NEVER returns to Adventures in Odyssey, then bringing his name up will only reminds fans that he's not around. By not bringing him up... the writers can slowly phase him out of the show. His story line did leave on a cliffhanger though... and it might be nice for the writers to mention Whit's worried about him or something, but as is pointed out several times in this thread... you have to pick appropriate moments to bring him up. And so far, there haven't been any.

If Eugene's not coming back they need to say so. It wouldn't be too hard for him to send Whit a letter or e-mail or even call him and say "We're not coming back for awhile". Then we could all breath a sigh of discouragement and get on with our lives and stop wondering if he's going to be back next season.

Here is what is going to happen: This Saturday we'll turn on the radio or r1 or wm and here "The Pact" and Eugene's name won't be mentioned. Toms not going to go to Agnus "Don't you remember Eugene? I hardly do." If Eugene's mentioned in any of this season, I'll be surprised.

Why doesn't Eugene comes back and they put clips of him in every few episodes? Stuff like "Hello, Mr. Whittaker." Of course, it wouldn't be the real Eugene.......*long sigh*.......oh well

but he IS coming back in june or july!!! just read my old thread intitled Eugene... so i mean they could at least tell us some about him...

It's not that we don't believe you, Arem852003, we just don't want to have our hopes raised only to have them dashed to pieces. (This subject is REALLY starting to get pathetic.)

Nathan, can you confirm or deny that Eugene will be back in June or July? Are there even any episodes scheduled for June and July? Usually they do summer re-runs...

Okay, I remember printing some chat thinggny about Eugene coming back. I'm going to look for that. cause, I could swear too, (just like Arem.) that someone said that he was coming June or July!

no you didnt dream it someone told me... i'll find it and post it when i get a chance but i know thats what they said... they said someone asked that at whitsend.org that same question and thats the answer they got...
so along with b.c. i swear i saw it!!!!!
