To the mods: I'm wondering if the reviews/discussions should be separate from the story- that way the readers will not have to go through all those reviews to get to the next chapter, but I can get feedback all the same. It's just a thought, since I know it is too much work to separate it into two topics...

Chapter 6

In the main lobby of the Town Hall, nearly all of the Townies had gathered. Most of them had slumped against the wall in exhaustion and shock while a few others stared out the half-open door, watching for their friends to arrive.

Jared cleared his throat. "Soon, it's going to be too dangerous to keep this door unlocked. Well, actually, it already is. After 10 minutes, we'll lock all doors and barricade them."

"But people are still out there!" Top yelled. "...and one of them has my Hulk Hogan poster..."

"We have no choice."

9 minutes.

While Ferder attempted to reach his brother on his cell phone, Elf and Samwise anxiously watched for their sister.

8 minutes.

Not even one more Townie had arrived.

7 minutes.

Happysmiler came hurtling into the Town Hall, her eyes wide with fright. A horde of llamas came thundering after, also maddened with horror.

5 minutes.

A low rumbling became audible in the distance. The noise seemed to be approaching.

4 minutes.

Gandalf walked in, his usually white robe stained with dirt and what looked like blood. "There are still some out there- I cannot find them all."

3 minutes.

2 minutes.

Several of the Townies in the lobby were now on the verge of panic.

1 minute.

A few stragglers arrived. Top relieved Jacob Isom of the Hulk Hogan poster.

10 seconds... 5...1...0.

"Lock all doors!" Jared ordered. "Edelweiss, Happysmiler and Admiral, we should have done this earlier... but please lock all the windows and barricade the breakable ones."

The three nodded and dashed upstairs.

The remaining Townies closed up the giant double doors of the Town Hall and locked it.

At that moment, there were three other Townies still out in the town somewhere-- Mellow, Respectahobbit, and Coralfish.
