| Personally, I didn't understand much of the article. But for those who are more politically oriented, I'm sure it was very good. |

I finally read it, and I agree. (Of course! )
I think your presentation was good, your coverage of the issue was good, and you presented a strong stance, and you made good points.
Your grade? Uhm 98! Where did the 2 points go? Well, I think you could have driven the issue (especially of standing strong) home a little more. |

I follow law politics, participate in elections and am pround to say that one day i will be the next PC member. I love politics and have for years. Ask all who know me they will all tell you that i wont stop talking about it.
As for your artical: i loved it. You had excellent points that were written with style and panache. You are and excellant writer with vison. Conclusion really bought me.
As for the critics in this message board...
Why are you critiquing something that you obviously nither understand nor care about? Why do you reply with comments such as "dont ever post this on the web" and "if i dont understand it i dont think other people would." Since when does your own intelligence dictate the posting of essays on the web? Hamlet is barly understood unless your educated in the field. Should that not be written because some people might not understand it??
Anyone remember the sunday school song "Build Eachother Up?"
As for the Artical: I loved it. Keep writing and posting!! |

Jared -
I just uploaded your article to the Limestone GOP site (http://www.limestonegop.org). Check it out and let me know if you have any comments. You can get to the article through either the link at the top of the page or the "Editorial Page" under "Table of Contents".
BTW, I'm interested in adding "The Conservative Journal" to my LINKS page. Let me know if there is any problem with that.
The town hall meeting with Senator Shelby never came off today. We had freezing drizzle and 30 degrees all afternoon. I know that is piddly compared to what they're getting in the Northeast, but it's cold for North Alabama on February 17.
Later,

Jared, good article. I thought paragraph 8 was the best. There were a few times that I was slightly confused, but check the time stamp on my post and that will explain everything! There were also a couple instances where I noticed a word repeated several times relatively close together. Some of those might have been for emphasis and a style issue. I'm not in the best frame of mind to judge that. Actually, I'm never the best person to proof read anything, but you didn't put any qualifications on who could read your article and who could comment.
Sandman, yes, we Alabamians don't know what cold weather is. I know in my city everyone remembers that 1996 was the last snow (and everyone got of the roads and sat at home because they were completely incapable in driving in snow. And a snow plow? What's that???). We're spoiled! |
