What did you guys think of the new Imagination Station? I don't really like it that much. "The American Revelation" is a good episode and everything, but all the sounds and features of the Imagination Station is too advanced. I liked the old phone booth Imagination Station where one person takes a ride. I even liked the helicopter version...

However, I don't like the new one in that it can seat up to ten people and has the capability of scanning paintings, books, etc. It seems very unrealistic and uninventable. I don't think that IS adventures are the same... the older episodes will always be better.

According to Marvin, it looks like some sort of spaceship... and something else. Does anyone remember what he called it?

Oh that's right. The interior looks somewhat like a bathroom... or a toilet... or something. That's what I didn't like about it.

I thought that the old one looked like a space ship. But sitting on it's stomach. I never knew that it could scan stuff.

It was just too advanced to me.

Is it just me, or has Odyssey became more future-tech duing the last few years?

No, they haven't gotten high-tech or futuristic.... They just have machines that "read" people's shoes to scan their DNA to recreate their lives (okay, so that wasn't how it really worked... but anyway), boxes that control minds, an Imagination Station that now can take a picture and automatically know the history of it, or take a movie, TV show, etc. and put you in it.

But... wasn't that what Jason modified the Room of Consequence to do?

See, nothing new or high-tech or futuristic ever comes to the sleepy little town of Odyssey! Wink

I'm not convinced that AIO hasn't gone futuristic. Whit just isn't the same and that really adds, I think, to our many ramblings and debatings on where AIO is heading.

Once you get over the fact the the Imagination Station lets a person travel back in time in their imagination, I don't see how a scanning machine seems so weird. In "Darkness Before Dawn" Eugene said that Whit had imput many files of documented history into the Imagination Station's computer bank. That being said I think what this new scanning machine would do would simply be to scan the book, movie, or picture, and then using the information of that book: descriptions of the settings, character personalities and physical traits, Whit would make the program from that. It's not that different from what he's done in the past with the Imagination Station.

What I hate is that the Whit's End in Odyssey might really suck compared to this one...

I have a brill brainwave.

It just came to me like a flash of flashbolts.

They could make an off-spring show called "Adventures in Connelsvlie!"

Aren't I so smart.

P.S. This post is not for real. Don't anyone dare think of doing this or else I'd just die.
