I know that over half of those frequenting this board are Lord of the Rings enthusiasts(to put it lightly), so please do not be offended, this is merly a point of curiosity for me |

At least read in Elvish, I wouldn't have a clue what was being said...
And my hands wouldn't cramp....
And the reader would have to follow me around everywhere!
And I can sleep through most of it.... |

Uh, elvish? Oh well... I could be out within the week and someone else could get the hoarse voice while I just sat there. I'd be terribly bored, but it's a lot better than getting life imprisonment. I could survive it.
As long as they served popcorn. |

| *sigh* people, Elvish is a beautiful language...I won't even bother trying to defend the books though...because you people are *so* set against them (which is your loss..not mine) |

Im not set against them.... I just don't have much time to read lately....
And I don't see any Christian value or point in the first LOTR book/movie..... |

| But wouldn`t it be a much better use of your time to learn a language that will be of use to you if, for instance, you visited another country? Until elvish becomes a highly used language, which I have a feeeling that it will not, would it not be better to simply learn Spanish or Italian, etc? |

I'm thinking lifetime imprisonment might be preferable...At least you get a good couch and a TV... |
