| My favorite anime show are Digimon, Big O, and Detective Conan (Case Closed). I also watch Fullmetal Alchemist, and some of the other shows they show on saturday morning. My favorite show is actually Beast Wars, but that doesn't really count as anime. As for Manga, I'm really to lazy to read any. My freind gave me the FLCL manga. It was the wierdest, craziest, most confusing thing I've ever read! |

(Yes I know their different but to me their the same) I got nothign againest Big O, and I havent seen the other. Beast Wars is a great show wish I could watch it time and again but alas I cant.
My fav's are; DB/Z/GT, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, Ruroni Kenshin, Outlaw Star, Inuyasha, Vampire Hunter D, Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yugi, Gundam/Wing/G-gundam, Tenchi Muyo, and probaley a few others I just cant think of them.

I'll have to check it out later when I get home, the computer here is so slow, and not to mention doesent have any speakers, so I dont think your videos would be to great if I used this computer. I'll let you know what I think of them later.

Hey,
Ya'll seem to know quite a bit about Manga and Anime.
I don't know anything about it, and I watched some anime several years ago, and I simply tried drawing a few basic figures, so that's the extent of my knowledge.
What do you guys think of the story plots and level of intelligence of any particular anime movie or comic of your choosing? In other words, do you think that anime movies are okay for kids to watch etc?

shan | Define kids, elementary age, jr hgih, hs. Then it depends on the anime like some of the one's I listed might be good for kids of all ages other mihgt be better for someone in Jr high or beyond. |

it depends on the maturity level of whoever is watching it. And, of course, what you're watching. Anime makes up a lot of Japanese TV. It's like trying to decide which age group Amercian TV is for.
As for the reasons I like the anime shows I mentioned...
Digimon, mainly because the characters are easy to "fall in love" with. Just about everyone can find a character in Digimon to identify with. The story is excellent. It's not over-done like some shows either. There's no regurgitating of the same plot over and over for 300 episodes. Once there done with a story, they're done. No more.
Big O is a great show. It's very thought-provoking. The plot is unique and keeps you guessing. It plays with questions everyone has about life and free will. And it's got giant robots beating the stuffing out of eachother! Who doesn't like that? Unfortunately this show remains unfinished due to Cartoon Network being a bunch of greedy ... people.
Detective Conan/Case Closed is a muder mystery show. If you like murder mysteries, you'll like this show. |
