Who else thinks he should have married Connie? That's what i always thought.
And yesterday at a church meeting there was a guy called Jason who looked JUST like Jason, and he has married a girl called Elisabeth. Now we know who Jason will marry....... |

Eugene and Connie? Married? I really don't think so. It seems to me that they can never agree on anything. Besides everyone knows, or should know by now that Connie is not ready for romance or marriage. She can't handle either one, her "relationship" with Mitch is a perfect example. Connie should stay single. |

I think Connie can handle it, the writers just replaced Connie with her crazy twin
As for Eugene and Connie, oh good golly no. They're just friends, and I'm happy leaving it at that. Besides, seeing how they poked fun at the idea in the greatest parody ever (I Slap Floor), I don't think the AIO team has any plans to do so.

| I am still convinced that Connie has alot more growing up to do before romance and marriage are even considered. The Mitch affair has made that certain in my mind. |

I disagree. She handled herself pretty well in First Love (1991). The AIO team just ignored her character development up to that point in Green Eyes Yellow Tulips.

Perhaps the writers should have given her more chances at dating, even so there would have been no guarantee that she would act like a mature adult and even if she were given the chance now there is still no guarantee. My guess is this is why they have not had any episodes about Connie's love life since Mitch left. |

Perhaps if they bring him back, Connie will have matured a bit, and will handle their relationship better. I wouldn't mind that, but they had better wait A WHILE until even considering marriage. |

I am always hoping that Connie will mature. I am not hoping for Mitch's return. |

I think Connie was mature before that. They just had her character 'backslide' (as far as maturity goes). As for Mitch ever coming back, I doubt it'll happen. They got rid of him b/c they realized the storyline was unpopular, and instead of alienate a huge portion of their fan base, they got rid of the problem.
