I think Connie was mature before that. They just had her character 'backslide' (as far as maturity goes). As for Mitch ever coming back, I doubt it'll happen. They got rid of him b/c they realized the storyline was unpopular, and instead of alienate a huge portion of their fan base, they got rid of the problem.

| I don't think he should have married Connie. They would argue till they die. |

| While I don't think that Eugene and Connie are at all right for each other, I can see why some people think that they should get have gotten married. For a long time they were the two main teen/young adult characters. Neither of them regularly interacted with other people around the same age as them on the show. Usually that means that the characters will eventually become romantically involved in the world of entertainment, especially when you throw in the "opposites attract" motto and all the arguing that Eugene and Connie have done over the years. |

I still don't see the logic in that arguement. Yes, they were the two main characters of that age on the show for a long time, but that doesn't mean they should get married.

No way!!! That's just weird! Connie likes Mitch remember?
Connie being perky and anything-goes type of character and Eugine being a everythinghastobeperfect type of character, the two just dont match. No, I'm sorry, but no. |

First of all, Connie and Mitch are no longer an 'item', thank goodness. Second, despite their differences, Connie and Eugene have a good friendship. I agree it's good he married Katrina instead, but there is a friendship there.

Very true, but he was making it sound as if even that was missing.
