|
Please pray for my brother (not Watson), he was in a bike accident this morning and broke his hip. He's in the emergency room now, on morphine for the pain. He'll be going into surgery this afternoon for pins or screws or something to be put in.
Also, pray for his school - he's in his first year of med school and this will set him way behind.
Thanks! |

Same here. I can relate to physical problems disrupting life, and am praying he gets better soon.

Terrible!
I shall pray for him. That is most unfortunate. |

Thanks everyone for praying! He got out of the recovery room at 9:30 tonight...the doctors are pleased with the surgery. The X-ray doesn't even show the break line anymore.
He'll be on crutches for at least six weeks - that will be hard getting up and down his apartment steps.
Anyway, thanks, and keep up the prayer for his recovery. |

A quick update: he's out of the hospital and getting around a little bit on crutches. He has to be very careful to not put any weight at all on his leg. The doctor said, "The next two weeks will determine the next two years." Also, an artery might be pinched - they won't be able to tell for a couple months. If it is, it would basically cause the bone to die which would mean a possible hip replacement.
So...keep on praying! |
