I haven't heard the 16th's episode yet, but I disliked the new actress as Katrina as well. But I think the idea that Focus couldn't afford both she and Will Ryan with their new contracts is probably correct. It's a real pity.
Personally, I think it's about time the Rathbone's dissappear anyway. They've been on the show forever and it wouldn't come as such a blow when Walker Edmiston is finally unable to work for AIO anymore. Let's get a 'new' bad guy family.
I do hope Harlow makes an appearance every now and again, but NOT as much as they were using him there right before Will Ryan left AIO. |

Or, maybe she just couldn't come back, assuming this might not have anything to do with contracts.

I've often thought the same thing, as he probably won't be on the show too much longer. The problem would be replacing them, should AIO choose to bring in another 'bad' family. The Rathbones have been perfectly acted over the years.
Plus, Rodney's been really annoying lately.

I completely disagree. I think she sounds even less like the old Katrina than in the previous episode.

She is not going to sound like Pamela Hayden because she is NOT Pamela Hayden. It is like Paul Herlinger sounding exactly like Hal Smith, it will not happen no matter how much we may want it to. They are 2 separate people, the faster people start accepting these facts the better.  |

While this may be true, I do think it will be awhile before my ears accept that fact.
