I read a most fascinating book last month called "Rebecca"...(I forget who it's by.) It's a classic and one of the most intriguing and engaging books I've read. (Although some people say that the movie is dark and horrid...the book was really good.)

If you like murder mysteries...The Nine Tailors, by Dorothy Sayers is good.

Any books by Janette Oke are stellar. I have read only one series, but my sister has read them all and says they are all good. The one series that I have read is "Love Comes Softly". There is 8 in the series. You could call them novels. Good christian books. There is actually movies out by Hallmark that are made after Love Comes Softly books 1 and 2 (2 is "Loves Enduring Promise"). You need to read! Janette Oke is one of the best writers out there.

Also, Jan Karon's "At Home in Mitford"! Very good books also. Excellent writer.

If you like fiction, check these books out!

I like those also. How did you find out the series was over? Crying or Very sad I know he hasn't written one in awhile but I was hoping it wasn't over. Flying Blind didn't really seem like an ending to me.

Considering it's been many years since he's written one, and has begun another youth series, it's safe to say the Cooper books are done.
