My church is facing a very serious test of our unity. Basically, a couple was adopting a baby, and the mother of the baby took the baby back. Both parties go to my church, and it's going to be rough dealing with this. Please pray that my church will show the love and acceptance of Christ to all concerned.

I'll be praying. I know how hard it is when there's disagreements in the church.

wait if the couple leagally adopted the baby the mother couldnt take the baby back could she (unless the people consented)

In this state, it takes at least six weeks for the adoption to be finalized.
