That's what I think! Mitch is a great character by himself. Why does he have to get mushy around Connie?? |

Another pic from Mr. Isom's site:
That aside, I'm not too thrilled with the character of Mitch. There are three major things AIO has done that I disagree with, and the C&M storyline tops the list. I hated it. It does not set a good example of what a Christian relationship in the dating context should be. I didn't hear anyone talking about God's will in all of this until their wedding. Connie acted very un-Connie like (with First Love as precedent). With Connie's love at first sight scene in GEYT Mitch's looks, rather than his personality and walk with God, were emphasized. It should've been the other way around.
I've ranted on this before, so I'll stop. I was just very disappointed with how the storyline was handled, and am glad they got rid of him.

One other thing about Mitch that bother's me:
His disrespect for authority and seeming disregard for the law. Sure, both he and Jason seem to have problems with this, but I think Mitch's problem is worse. Why do AIO characters who enter law enforcement have to ignore orders? Can't they ever mature??
Okay, I'm done now. |

Except with Jason we can see he is learning. We never saw any proof Mitch did.
