I just saw the first "The Ring" last night, and thought it was particularly dumb and unscary.
It at least got good reviews, the reviews for "The Ring 2" are pretty bad. |

I haven't seen the first one... BUT I SO WANT TO!!! I'm gonna buy it someday on DVD (I don't buy DVDs brand new, cause there's so many I want. I buy my movies at $5.99 at a CD shop. Takes a while to get that cheap, but if I wait I can get 5x as many!), preferably with that extra disc "Rings".
Why would you watch the second before the first!!! |

Indeed. To elaborate more on my view of horror films...
I consider myself a fan of horror films. They don't make many good ones anymore, though, it seems. I like a good old fashioned zombie/insane killer movies. I don't like creepy little pale kids who act all dazed and whisper spooky things at opportune moments... which seems to be the "new" era of horror film. |

I really want to see both movies... I saw clips from The Ring on yahoo.com, and they were pretty creepy.
But I probably think that just because I've never seen a horror movie before. |

| I heard that the Japanese version of the Ring was a lot better, and that the Ring 2 was totally lame. |
