Indeed. To elaborate more on my view of horror films...
I consider myself a fan of horror films. They don't make many good ones anymore, though, it seems. I like a good old fashioned zombie/insane killer movies. I don't like creepy little pale kids who act all dazed and whisper spooky things at opportune moments... which seems to be the "new" era of horror film. |
Seriously!! I just went and spent a few days at some friends, and we watched Gothika which had a pale creepy girl with long hair covering her face. Then I saw a preview for The Grudge--another long-haired-pale-creepy-girl. Than today I went on a date and saw Ring II (which, by the way--was not impressed), and viola! another creepy long haired girl. And they make the characters move all jerky like which at first was really creepy, but now it's annoying. Get a new way to make your character's scary!!!!!!
I love horror movies! Especially really cheesy ones from the 80's. I don't like to watch new horrow movies by myself though, so I hardly ever get to watch them because none of my friends like to watch horror flicks. When we saw Ring II, I saw a preview for some new horror movie that looks really good though. I don't remember the name, but it had Kate Hudson in it and that guy from 2 guys, a girl and a pizza place. Of course, it could just be a really good trailor and the movie will be awful...... |

| Ooo! Skeleton Key? I don't want to see that one as much. I really want to see The Cave, though. |

Tis a pity they cancelled the planned Jason VS Freddy VS Ash...
Maybe they'll make Jason VS the Creepy Little Girl instead, though. |

Girl: (in an airy, creepy voice) "They're going to get you...!"
Jason: "..."
**Jason does creative things with his machete**
THE END
