| Yeah, Mel Gibson attempted to whittle it down to a PG-13, but didn't quite make it... |

| I recently just watched "Bells of Innocence". Chuck Norris is in it and his son directed it. I thought it was fairly scary for a Christian movie. I little too scary to let my 8 year old daughter see it. |

Never heard of it... but Chuck Norris is usually entertaining. |

I like the movie Joshua.
But wouldn't recommend the books.
Joseph Girzone (author of the books) has some really whacked
thoughts about Jesus and the end times!
I think most Christian movies are done well. If it only brings one soul to Christ it's worth it. If the script is good (message) that is what counts to me.
I'm glad that they don't have huge budgets. It keeps us within the truth of the production instead of how we can be entertained. I think that is the goal of most Christian movies made today. Salvation not entertainment.
If you've been conditionalized by the entertainment world than all these movies will seem low budget.
It's like going to church and hearing a salvation message for the 100th time. You tend to be bored. I tend to see what the Lord can do for the lost and pray it will plant a seed or salvation to an individual.
This is my two cents worth. |

I belive I've said this before, but Christian movies are very depressing to me, most of the time.
It's really sad that Big Idea was sued by their former distrubuter for $11 million dollars, or else they might have survived Jonah. And don't get me started on the Left Behind Movie series.
I purchased Judgment from Wal-Mart for $5.50 and I still feel cheated! 3 out of 5 actors in that movie played their parts to unbeliveable, and boring, the main charicter is about the only good, beliveable preformance. The plote is 99% predictable, with only one big plot-twist, and the overall look of the movie says "I'm on a budget." I do not do not have high hopes for "Left Behind III" AKA the expensive part of Tribluation Force.
Anyways, I want to see some Christian movies/tv movies/anime (Animated features for an older audience in the Japanese style) that are good.
I remember there was a video I saw a long tima ago at a church about this girl who hurt her head and goes back in time right before the Great Depression. From what I remember it was pretty good.
Anything from Big Idea is awesome!
I also plan on seeing The Passion soon as well. |
