I also saw Love Comes Softly but being a male, the movie didn't really appeal me. No gunfights! No explosions! No action/adventure! That's not to say it's a bad movie; it was actually quite good but its plot wasn't up my alley, to borrow the colloquialism.
Left Behind was okay. I liked the second one better than the first. It seemed more professionally made, IMHO.
There's my 2 pence worth.

Being someone with a very active imagination when it comes to books and radio, I just couldn't bear watching Left Behind. I had a mental image of their looks, movements, even voice. I think I got three minutes into it when the other people in the room got tired of my comments on it and I left.

I've also seen those by Cloud Ten pictures and really liked them. My favorite was probably either Revalation or Judgement. |

the "left behind" series helped me begin my new relationship with Christ. I went through a box and a half of Kleenex's durring "The Passion".
What do you think about the "new" Passion coming out?
I think it's stupid to make it less graphic (that's what I heard they did)
because what Christ did for us is reality-they shouldn't soften up reality so younger people can watch it. My opinion of course

My thoughts exactly! When I came out of the theatre, there was this old couple and I overheard them say "that was much to graphic!" or something. And I thought, that's the way it should be! Christ really went through that for our sins! We need to know how horrible it really was. |

But, For the kids sake, I think it is great that they are going to be able to get to watch the movie now. They do need to know what Christ did, but they should not see that horrible graphic.
That is what I say anyway. |

| It won't be AS graphic, but it would still get an R rating. So "the kids" still couldn't/shouldn't/wouldn't see it. (not "shouldn't" but that just sounded good there) |
