| It is horrible Mr. Shiavo wants to pull his wifes feeding tube, but think of how many people die everyday that didn't have to. For as much media as this is getting why isn't there any more on murders, abortions? It doesn't make sence to me. |

Terry is, for medical purposes, a vegetable. |
Actually, this is untrue...
Terri is not in a persistant vegitative state. She is responsive, she recieves no life support, except for a feeding tube, and she most likely wouldn't even need that if she was allowed therapy.
Truth is she can swallow water and some soft foods, but her husband has forbidden it.
It really frustates me how politcal this whole situation has gotten. I'm at a loss as to what to think or feel. I only pray. |

she's not in a vegetative state, is she? they said (before the feeding tube was removed) on FOTF that she responds to her parents and stuff.. |

| I heard one Dr. on Fox News Channel say that Terri has lost 80% of her brian because of what happened to her. They even showed the pictures. |

| First I heard that she was dieting and then there was another report that she had been seeing a fertility doctor and was trying to get pregnant and a chemical imbalance caused her to collapse and her husband came home and found her. The second version I heard was that she suffered a heart attack. I am really not sure. |

Quite honestly I haven't listened to Focus on Focus on the Family on this issue and I don't listen to Focus anyway. It's bad enough that Judge Greer has been forced to leave his church over this issue. It's bad enough that people in the name of "life" put a bounty on Micheal Shivo's head and that of one of the judges. In all honesty I am sickened by the whole thing. |

This really is a sad thing altogether that really never should have taken place. She's down to her 9th day without food and they've started getting morphine into her. What a horrible way to die |
