What do your parents do that embarressess you? (don't correct my spelling, I know it's wrong!)

For example........at the grocery store they ALWAYS have music from the 60s and 70s. My mom sings and dances to the music, RIGHT IN FRONT OF PEOPLE! I just excuse myself to go get the ham

Once I got older and out of my early and mid teen years I didn't really mind what they did.

That is so cool! I am ususally the one who embarresses my parents. Well--my mom. My dad doesn't get phased at much. Like a couple of years ago we drove to my cousin's wedding and I had just died my hair purple and my mom was so embarressed she pretended not to know me. Then at the wedding people kept telling me how neat and pretty it was--especially elderly people, and then my mom was all proud and like--yeah--that's my daughter!

I did used to be embarressed of my mom's old car. It was a white Pinto station wagon.........

My parents don't embarrass me... I know that what they do doesn't reflect badly (or well) on me... besides, if people don't like my parents, then they really can't be my friends because my parents are huge parts of my lives and if they don't want to hang out with my parents, they generally won't be able to hang out with me.

I've actually had very little issue with my parent's likes and dislikes and how they affect me negatively or positively. It doesn't really matter either way.

Now what can be really trying is thier lack of knowledge of any form of modern technology. I explain and explain and they still don't understand the proper use of simple technological advancements such as cell phones and computers.

However, I take it as a positive attribute that they are at least making the effort, however futile. Wink

My mom and dad never embarrass me. Well, I can't think of any time that they have. Oh well, I don't really care even they did embarrass me. I do nothing that's embarrassing. Very Happy
