So , I know it is a little early--but I am really excited about spring break, and I am really bored right now and am coming up with any excuse possible to ignore my studying for finals, so I figured a new topic on SB was in order! Where are you going! Or not going?

I'm taking a road trip with friends to Vegas. My friends are all excited about gambling and getting free drinks--but I am excited about just getting to experience a real hot spot dance club and am going to dance the nights away. When I first agreed to go on this trip I was really excited, because I had hear about how everything is really cheap in Vegas..but now that I am checking it out--NOT TRUE!!! I thought-Oh, since I'm not going to gamble--this will be a really cheap trip! Whatever--the hotel room is over $100.00 a night, even going to see a Vegas oldie like Tom JOnes is $70.00 a ticket! So now I am a little bummed (I'm still excited, but not so much anymore) and trying to find stuff to do since I have no interest in gambling.....any ideas?

I kind of want to get out of town a couple days with my friends, but it doesn't look like that is going to work out... I do have the week off of work, however, and shall have the place to myself. So, I shall probably spend the week watching movies, playing video games, and eating junk food, and throwing wild parties! Very Happy

Maybe not quite as fun as a road trip, but, I think it shall be entertaining none the less.

Oh, wow! I am jealous! Have fun! I went to Vegas a few years back, and it was so much fun! I loved Vagas. Be sure and go at night to the Belagio hotel. There is a huge lake size body of water in front of the hotel, and every few minutes or so, a breath taking water show set to music performs in the lake. Watch it! It moved me to tears when they did the music to the song 'Time To Say Goodbye', 'I'm Going to Go Back There Some Day' (yes, the song by Gonzo), and 'Somewhere Down The Road'. It is very beautiful. Plus, Star Trek: The Experience is in the Las Vegas Hilton. That is fantastic. Also, be sure and go in all the hotels; they are all awe inspiring! Beautiful. Also, there is no experience in the world to like driving or walking down the Strip at night. Vegas was a place that I would love to visit again sometime soon. You will have fun! Be sure and take pictures and show us when you get back! I'm happy for you.

I'm glad you all had a better time there than I, and hope you have a good time Jessicado.

I didn't have such a good time there. Yay for the cold places!

I'm going home for the week and I can't wait.

I just got back from spring break, I went on a cruise to the bahamas. Was very enjoyable. Florida in my opinion is a dump...

I cant wait either! I'm staying up all night tonight cuz I got no school tommorow, which is monday, inwhich there is NO SCHOOL!!! YEAH!!! Very Happy

Yes!!!! This is going to be one of the best spring breaks ever for me, because I'm flying to the States with my mother! We're flying in 10 days, and I can hardly wait! We'll be in South Carolina for a week, and then in Maryland for a week, visiting friends and family. I am soooo excited! I haven't been home in 2 1/2 years, so this will be awesome! 8) Very Happy

i don't think i'm gonna do anything too exciting this spring break...maybe go shopping, town hallin', swimming, biking, running, the usual when there's no school...unlike some people i can't pull a cruise or a trip together...and you know what stinks? my parents' spring break is not the same week as mine, so we couldn't go on a trip anyway, even if we wanted to...
