Here's my review:
I thought it was really good, but well, I've read the book before I saw it so i knew what was going to happen! I think it was good, but a little too predictable~ |

I haven't seen the movie, but the book was...um...rather boring...
The movie looks promising, though. I'll probably see it when it comes out on DVD (and VHS, if those are still made). |

| I just noticed this topic. I went and saw the movie a few weeks ago. It was pretty good, and pretty true to the book. One thing that was sort of lacking was the fact that they each talked about ways to ease pains and fears (singing, candy, sin tree, etc.), but turning to God was never mentioned. However, it wasn't made by Christians, so I wasn't expecting something like that. Overall, I'd recommend it as a "good little movie," but I'm not in any hurry to see it again. |

Was good and enjoyable and cute. It was funny at times, and had a pastor and talked of God in good way.
However, the dog burping 3 x was gross and uneeded, and brings down my star value. And it was like everything good was cause of dog, and nothing of God.
would be 3 1/2 stars, but 2 1/2-3. 97 % good. |
