Theorem: 3=4
Proof:
Suppose:
a + b = c
This can also be written as:
4a - 3a + 4b - 3b = 4c - 3c
After reorganizing:
4a + 4b - 4c = 3a + 3b - 3c
Take the constants out of the brackets:
4 * (a+b-c) = 3 * (a+b-c)
Remove the same term left and right:
4 = 3 |
You have just proven why I hate math so much. It doesn't make sense.

I've seen that "proof" before, and it has some flaw in it. It only works because some mathematical law is broken, though I'm not sure which one at this point. (I hate math too, Jonathan, because it doesn't make sense to me, but this proof doesn't actually prove that 4=3). |

And blond jokes don't offend you? |
I'm a blonde and such jokes never offended me. I find a lot of them amusing. |
My feelings exactly. I think they're funny. |

Hehe.
a+b=c
a+b-c=0
At one point you divide both sides by (a+b-c). You can't logically divide by zero. |

My apologies to any of our liberals (the joke is easily turned around anyway).
How many liberals does it take to screw in a light bulb?
None. They like to be left in the dark.

Yeah, well, I never said the "proof" was logical...but I thought it was funny.
And, btw, Jonathan, you're like the first guy I've known who hates math... |

After a while that's all math. Late high school, college, physics, sceince, all revolve around that stuff (and trig, which is the worse kind of algebra).
