| I have this delima I live in a kinda of bad neighborhood (I live in the calm of the storm block though : old people and such) so the local high school is filed with gangs and drugs and stuff ive always gone to a magnet school ever scince K-8th but this year I applied for a really good out of district magnet school but it isnt looking good for me and if i dont get accepted I have to go to the neighborhood school and I absolutely refuse to go there and were not to rich so we cant go to private school so i was thinking : home school but i dont know of any good home schools so i need suggestions and prayer please so i can get a chance to get in the magnet school because my parents arent exactly open to the idea of home school |

You don't have to go a school, you just have to buy the school work. EI subjects, etc. Here is a fantastic wesite that is done completely on the computer. It's all free; they send you a computer, they pay for the internet, they send you books, becils, crayons, etc, and you get a teacher that you can call 24/7. And it's all free. You can do other curriculums to. You can find them everywhere; anywere from very inexspensive to really expensive. Next year, I will be using a cirriculem called 'Oak Medows'. It will cost a total of $700. However, that includes all subjects, and teachers to call for help 24/7. Hope that helps! I'll be praying. |

| Some public schools have an independent study program. You study at home most of the time but they provide the books and check up on you regularly. |

| if you look up online, you can find plenty of homeschool options. You can do an internet program as well, but I prefer using books personally |
