My pastor doesn't believe that after the rapture happens, whoever's left has a chance to be saved. Shock He showed me where in scripture it says this, it's 2 Thes. 2:11-12.

That's pretty sad. Sad But it goes to show we need to spread the gospel every chance we get, cause there might not be another one.

What are your thoughts?

If you read the two verses before that you will see that it is writing about 'the lawless one' (NIV). Actually, the whole chapter is about the AntiChrist. The rapture is not mentioned there. I believe that the only thing that could prevent a person from being saved is if they take the mark of the beast and worship him (Rev 13)

Jonathen is only partly right. If people have heard enough of gospel to know that they are not saved, and how to remidy that, but do not do so, turning their hearts away from God, then they also shall not be able to get saved.

True. I didn't mention that as I was talking about actions one could take during AntiChrist's reign/post rapture/etc.

*Ahem* I think you mean after all the christians are raptured the unbelievers living won't have a second chance for salvation. So in fact there will be a gap between the rapture and the tribulation long enough for that generation to die off. That second generation will then have a chance to be saved during the tribulation, and they would be more open to the two witnesses because in the entire world there will be no christians and they would be searching for God.

Except we don't know how much time there will be between the rapture and the start of the tribulation.

We don't but I would assume that that first generation wouldn't have a second chance to be saved, it only makes sence.
