Reading his statement of faith, I read that he doesn't believe in spiritual gifts anymore (prophesies, tongues, etc), which is debateable.
But I've not heard of him, so if there is a controversy over him I'm not aware of it.

"We believe... that God gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the building up of the body of Christ. However, we believe that some gifts of the Spirit such as tongues and healings were evidently limited to the early church. We believe that God answers the prayers of His people and meets their needs according to His purpose."
He didn't say that ALL gifts weren't happening today....
And there isn't a controversy over him, I was just wondering if you guys have heard of him. |
