I'd like to hear your thoughts, assuming I wasn't the only one here who watched it.
Personally, not many complaints. I didn't like the stuff about giving Palesting it's own state on the land that was given to Israel, and I'm not falling for the 'peace' that is within reach for the two nations. I don't believe that will be resolved until Jesus comes back.
Other than that, I'm glad we have four more years with President Bush.

No you are not the only one who watched it. I watched it even though I was about to faint with exhaustion.
I think that the President has lots off good plans for the next four years! that is all I can say right now, because I am still exhausted. |

| My only thoughts on the subject at this point could be applied to almost all political speeches. I dislike the fact that there is lengthy applause every three seconds. If the adress could be presented as one cohesive body without said interruptions, it would be much easier to pay attention. Applause should be held unitl the end. This being said, I didn't listen to more than the first five minutes specifically for this reason. |

While that can get annoying it can also be somewhat amusing to see the two sides and how they react. Ted Kennedy, for example; his face will get redder and redder as the speech progresses if it is a Republican president.

Honestly, I don't see how anyone could let such a thing ruin a political speech. That said, 'tis annoying when they start clapping and the speaker must stop mid-statement. But, really, the point (last night) was greater than the annoyance. And if I could get technical, I could say that it wasn't every three seconds that they clapped. |
