A dream is something (most times) you can't help. However, if you're wide awake and looking at someone lustfully, that's another story. |

Most times. I still think that on occasion you can conciously make choices while you're unconcious. :S or something. |

Hate to be a spoiler, but it doesn't work that way. |

I'm not saying I disagree with you (b/c I'm not sure), but why do you say that?

Its almost incongruous to suggest that one can make conscious choices while in an unconscious state, is it not?
By the mere point that you are, in fact, unconscious it precludes the notion that you could actually consciously choose to do something without changing your state first. As in, perhaps, waking up. |

By all means, your statement makes perfect sense as you state it. I believe, however, that some people are indicating that they have a certain level of awareness at times even when sleeping (perhaps the same kind of awareness that knows you are dreaming). |

Ah yes, I do understand this. And yet, despite varying levels of awareness you are nevertheless, asleep (which would indicate unconsciousness to some extent). I believe that this, in itself, is indication enough that the person is not making decisions with the same faculties were they awake and alert.
Then again, that's merely my opinion and the little information I have collected over time on the subject. |

Pardon the bluntness but, who are you to speak of sleep? You never get any! |

Then I suppose I shan't have to worry about dreaming. How convenient.
In all earnestness, I don't purport to know anything from personal experience, however, several articles and publications have addressed the issue in some detail. It was to them that I referred.
