Woohoo! I just recieved a most wonderful email from the MN state capitol's chaplain giving some wonderful news:


On January 18th, Louisiana brought a ruling ratifying the anti-gay marriage amendment that was passed but held in dispute earlier last Fall. The next day, a Florida Judge retained the Defense of Marriage Act stating that Florida would not have to recognize the same-sex marriage law of Massachusetts. Then, yesterday (Jan. 20), Indiana similarly upheld a law prohibiting the state from recognizing homosexual marriages.

Good for you guys but in Canadian we have a vote in Parliment in a few days that would if they won it make Gay Marrige in canadain legal.

And don't forget the fact that whenever you say anything about them that is wrong you are liable for prosecution...

I don't follow. Does that mean if you speak up about the gov't they could bring you to court?

That's, if you speak about them in an offending way...yes. (or at least I think so...) Many people in the street still use it as a bad term...I'd like to say that's a good thing, but my good side says I probably shouldn't.

And what Ive heard, the church is in an uproar because the church was assured that would not happen, and now those supporting the bill insist it will not affect pastors in the pulpit.... Somehow I doubt their wording is that honorable...
