Yes! Yes! Someone who shares my love of grammatical correctness! Welcome to the board, buddy! I've been trying for years to get these folks to get their preposition act together... and it hasn't worked. I'm afraid they've been a bad influence on me, though, because I've found myself slipping into the hole of prepositional phrase misuse recently. Eek! |

Amen! (though I must say, I prefer British English, even though I'm American. We use too many commas in our sentences here in America. And it isn't "color" it's "colour". And it's not "realize" it's "realise".) |

I'm glad English is my first language-I heard that it's harder to learn it as a second, because of all the rules. Has anyone else heard that? 8) |
