When I told my browser to display the image, it said "www.(insert filename here).jpg" could not be found. You need to point the link to the proper location of the image, for example, http://www.imagehosting.com/user53/pics/1234.jpg
That at least is how you link to them. I'm not sure how to make them display in the body of your message.
