I REALLY like George McDonald's writings. Right now I am reading 'The Highlanders Last Song' I think it's really good.
I also like Michael Phillips books. Have any of y'all read any?

Ferder, all the stories of George Macdonald you read are fantasy ones. If you don't like fantasy, you'll probably like his other books.

Actually fantasy is all I read. (praticly). I didn't say I didn't like his books. In fact, one of his books (the Wise Woman) i didn't really like that much but after reading it a second time I found i enjoyed much more then the first time.
Have you noticed though that in most of his fantasys he always has a "God Woman" person?

Now that you mention it, he does. Interesting. I guess in fantasy stories, males just don't fit the role.
