Well I was looking at some of the Fanfic's and thought I could do that so I started typing. That was three months ago so It wasn't as easy as I though. I went back to my fanfic I had started a few days ago and I changed a few things and now I think that it is ready for posting!

I give to you The Power of a Nightmare.

Jack quietly went about his work at J&J Antiques. He was busy cataloging a shipment of antiques he had just gotten from all over Europe from an old friend many years back when he worked at an auction house in Pasadena. As he went though the group there were few worth much but there was one item that Jack was especially interested in. There was a small statue of what looked like a king or duke in medieval England. The man was standing tall and proud and had a stunning mighty battle-axe that he was holding. The statue was about 4 inch’s tall and the there was remarkable details of the king’s fine clothing and the axe was perfected to the finest detail. The carver had done a fine job on the statue from head to toe Jack wonderer how many hours it had took to create such a masterpiece. The markings on the underside of the small statue caught Jack’s eye. The letters were craved into the stone and reinforced Jack’s early thought that it was made in the Middle Ages. The letters looked as if they were maybe were Gaelic or Welsh but Jack not being versed in either wasn’t sure of himself. It might be one of those two and there was a strong possibility that they were something else completely. He deicide it was too late to call Jim who was mostly liking was going to hard to track down at this time well Jim was hard to track down at any time. Jim was never satisfied with staying in one place that and his love for antiques made him a very good collector. He would have to wait into the morning before we would call him to ask about this piece. Joanne who was in Chicago was going to be out to at least late tomorrow so we would have to wait till than to ask her want she thought of it about this situation. He decided that he would work for a little while more than go to sleep.

At Trickle Lake Jason appeared to be busy trying to catch a fish but trying was so far the best word to describe how his day had gone so far for he had caught none yet. Jason though wasn’t concentrating on the fish but was busy thinking. “Boy do I every want to do something more exciting than this.” Jason mumbled to himself. “Just handing out ice cream working on the imagination station and going fishing just isn’t cutting it for me”. “I’ve had this problem before come up and then the mission work filled the spot and I do and still do go out as a missionary but that isn’t exactly what I want.” “ I want action, adventure, mystery and having to solve problems but it doesn’t seem as if I’m heading out on a some quest soon”. Then his cell phone rang.

“Thank you very much goodbye now and it’s been nice doing business with you”. Joanne was very happy with herself. She had just managed to sell a number of Antiques that there shop didn’t have room for and Jack would be pleased that this trip had a least few things go well. She drove away from a small but nice looking shop much like there own except this one was in Chicago. The weather earlier in the day had been warm and sunny but now in the later part of the evening in had turned cold and the sun was also on the verge of setting. She turned onto the street that would take her back to her hotel near the outskirts of Chicago. She would call Jack to say hello and make sure he wasn’t worrying about her. He didn’t like it when she went alone to Chicago and most of the time they both would or Jack would do this type of trip. She and reassured him on many occasions that she would be fine and that on this trip she was also going to visit with a old friend to keep her busy and happy. She would also tell Jack about the order so that he could get it ready to ship to Chicago then it would be good to have a hot bath and call it a night. A few minutes later she pulled into the parking lot of the hotel she was staying at. She parked close to the side door of the hotel and got out of her vehicle. She had only taken a few steps when a man came out of the hotel side door. It looked like he was walking to his vehicle but when she got near him he suddenly grabbed her arm and put it behind her back and clamped his other hand over her mouth. In a snarling voice he said. “Just come with me and you won’t get hurt”. A black truck suddenly came to life in the other wise deserted lot. The man shoved her into the cab and the truck drove out into the streets of Chicago.

Please give me your thought's on it!

Wow, good job, Bmuntz! I can't wait to find out what happened to Joanne. I wonder which friend she was visiting? Keep working on the punctuation, but otherwise it's great! Very Happy I guess we'll have to wait to find out how the nightmare title fits in.
