I'd like to ask y'all to pray for us. We'll probably be hit pretty hard by Hurricane Ivan, I'm not sure how hard though. But, I'd appreciate y'all's prayers for our saftey. Especially my brothers and dad, because they will most likely be out in a lot of it; cutting trees off roads, power lines, and the like.

So, anyway, if you don't hear from me for a couple of days it's 'cause we've lost our power.

I'm praying too, I know some people who are getting hit by Hurricane Ivan also.

Oh, cool. I just found out that the firefighters, including Daddy and my brothers, can be 'free' to stay in their houses/leave when the winds get about 40 mph. So, Daddy and my brothers will be able to stay at home with us. 8)

I'm praying! 40 mph shouldn't be too bad, it will blow some tree branches around though...

The hurricane turned East right before it hit the coast, so we got by quite well. The highest winds we got were gusts up to 55 mph. There wasn't any serious damage done around here that I can tell, just branches down, etc.
