Posted: Tue Jul 06, 2004 1:04 pm    Post subject: My uncle On Sunday my uncle was at a Christian camp in VA (which is near where he lives) playing a summer variation of hockey when someone hit the ball a little too hard and it hit him dirrectly in (I think it was his left) eye. He said the pain was exrutiating. He's had to be flat on his back since because if he sits or stands up it puts a lot of pressure on it. It's really bloodshot and they said it looks like a blood clot is forming under it. They're taking him to the doctor tomarrow. They had another relative have a similar thing happen to him not long ago and he lost all the sight in that eye. My uncle is a carpenter/painter/handyman in rural VA, and if he loses one of his eyes he probably would have to get a different job, which would be hard where he lives.
