I grew up on Veggie Tales. I think it is the best thing for Kids since AIO. And now that I'm older I appreciate it even more. The humor is so good, yet so clean. It's almost christian Monty Python.
I think that Veggie tales has lost a bit of the charm they had in the earlier shows. The earlier eps were hilarious in their simplicity. Still, their newer works impress me and someof them are very hillarious. |

| I think for the most part they're good, except I have one major complaint: They take God's name in vain A LOT especially in the older ones. |

Yeah, like in the earlier ones especially or if you listen to the "story of flibber o lou" on are you my neighbor tape. Or God wants me to forgive them, uses it alot.
the cucumer (larry) on story of flibber o lou says " *** this is fun****this is swell" the *** representing misuses of God's name. I wrote to them about it. I think it got better in the newer ones. |

Edelweiss~ I never really paid attention to that, although its been ages since I actually watch a Veggie Tales
All that asied, I love Veggies! They are so much fun. And they are hilarious too.

I never considered my stance on the reverence of God's name "trying to find something wronge [sic] everything." I don't try to find a reason to dislike everything, I was disappointed in Veggie Tales for their misuse of God's name, and if you consider that "the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain" (Exodus 20:7), maybe you would reconsider your position on His name. Yes, I'm sensitive to the abuse of my God's name, He's holy and righteous, we can't see his face and live, angels surround his throne saying "holy, holy, holy", he sits enthroned in heaven, how can you not take him and his name seriously and reverently? |
