Just so you know, the first word you mentioned is a "euphemistic contr. <JE(SUS)", not God and yes the second word is also a eumphemistic contr. God.
If you were to say what some would consider a "real curse word" and you didn't understand what it meant, do you reallly think it wouldn't offend your audience who DID know the meaning? Please, just consider what I said, I'm not trying to be nit-picky or rude to you at all, I just wish that you would hold my God's name in reverence. |
Ooooo! Getting a little possesive are we? "My God's name"?
I guess it was obvious about the meaning of Gee. I suppose I just wasn't thinking clearly.
But I still stand by what I said. |

Aaah! I just researched my last question and much of those words are on the no list. I... really don't know what to say right now (partley because I might say something else bad). This is horrible. All the funny words are evil. ...Erg... Ugh... Eck. My entire vocabulary will soon be reduced to grunts. This is really heavy. Bummer deal. |
No, don't reduce your conversation to grunts. But what do you use, well, paint me in ketchup and call ma a tomato, I don't know. Well, you always could use Bernard's sayings, or make your own up.
On to the real topic: Veggie Tales is grand. I haven't watched many of the recent ones, but the old ones were great examples of what kids should grow up on. (Minnus the swearing.) |

Wait... I misposted. Almost all the words on that list are ok. (Phew, sorry to freak you guys out)
I was going out the door when I wrote that so it was flawed. Sorry.
Great Scott can be traced back to Good Lord, so you may not want to use that, although I may not be correct on that. I do know that Blimey has been traced to an old word "Golblimey" which means God Blind Me. But If you just say Blimey, so your saying "Blind Me" It's probably ok too! |

| "Sweet mother of mercy!" probably refers to Mary or something. I don't really see how "great scott" came from "good Lord" (unless God is scottish, which I dought) |

Well, not to be rude, but he is my God, it's hard to tell the way you talk about him so I didn't want to assume he was yours too. No offense intended. |

| I do say my goodness, although I am sure it is a for of Oh my G** therefore I try to steer away from it. I can be a difficult thing to change your vocaulary. |
