Really? I hope you don't post this song's lyrics. The words X-RATED and PARENTAL ADVISORY come to my mind. I'm am curious now. Is this one of Tupac's "inspirational" songs? |

| I heard Jump5 was good. I personally prefer J.S. Bach's music. |

When you start a topic, then declare your enjoyment of a song that is, apparently, obscene, don't get angry when someone calls you on it.
In fact, allow me to ask this again: why do you do this? Every topic you start seems to have the express goal of ridiculing or offending: "Can I covet my neighbor's lawn mower?" "It is okay to lust?" "Should I provide my 'daughter' with condoms?" And then, when we, as Christians, answer you, who also professes to be a Christian, I might add -- answer you as any Christian ought -- you lash out. How dare we question you? How dare we provide an opinion?
Well, what do you think we're going to do?
I can only speak for myself here, but you've caused me, at least, to doubt you. It seems that you aged from a young kid in Pittsburgh to young kid in Canada to a divorced adult with a teenage daughter, living in San Fransisco, rather quickly. And it seems that everything you've posted has been calculated to provoke a shocked response.
Why do it?

Calling that song obscene is an understatement...tremendously/immensely obscene is far better. Its not hard to imagine why you are having problems w/ your ""daughter"" if "Get Em Up" is blasting in the background. Not even Tupac fans would consider this song particularly good or one of his more "redemptive" works.
Like Jared, I myself have been having doubts about your sincerity for a considerable amount of time. Remember, people can have a look at ALL your previous posts. |
