URg. I hate those. Eversince I went to JSI I'm extremely annoyed with talking about movies,
video games,
etc. |

I said it was just a thought not saying we should do it. |

I don't want huge board proliferation here. JSI and other boards like it have way too many forums.
That's why a strictly political board is probably too narrow. Making it "News and Politics" opens it up some and, since such things are frequently discussed here and there are plenty of topics that could be started in such a board, I believe it is valid.
Video games, however, would not seem to deserve a board. Ditto most things discussed in off topic, in my opinion. |

News and Politics is also a more serious topic than, say, video games. I would be vehemently opposed to a forum on video games. Not that I'm anti-gaming, but I don't feel it deserves its own forum on the Town Hall.
Politics, on the other hand... |

Mellow-
Do you like it when your supporters oppress your opponent? And gather at the door of his house.... nevermind.. just kidding.
But do you think it's usual that if you lose the election, your supporters will immediately rush over to the mayor and start being a bit... nasty? no offence, but it's starting to seem that way. So now I do not care for the Town of Odyssey- since it became worse. |

During the first election, I counted many friends among Hawkeye's supporters. During this election, I still had some, but found more avoiding me. Can't be friendly with the enemy. I was made aware of the fact that some of my supporters were avoiding others with which they disagreed as well.
That's not the way it was meant to be. The events following this most recent election only serve to underscore that.
My opinion is that, as Carolita said, we should put an end to the position. |
This post (and the entire "Major Announcement" thread) by Jared was the basis of my wanting to close the Town of Odyssey. |

Urgh... I guessed it would be hard to understand, everything I say seems to be very... inunderstandable or whatever.
I think I'd like to ask this to dent aswell.
I said do you like the idea of having your supporters mob your opponent? Especially after your opponent becomes mayor?
Ok, this is just a question, don't take it seriously like your supporters are actually doing so... |

Uhh... who's PK? And No, I'm not saying htat. It's just that the candidate who loses usually has those supporters who are extreme and aha... you know what. Goes to the footsteps of the mayor's house...
"I don't like the idea of making a Wooton Bassett powerboy shop!" etc. hehe! Well, i hope you get the idea, I'm just saying would you like it if your supporters did that?
Umm.. I don't completely understand my post, do you? |
