Okay citizens of Odyssey, write questions to the two remaining candidates here!
Q.1 Arthur Dent, What do you mean by closing T o O? Do you mean to destroy all the businesses and burn the town? 
Q.2 Mellow, I've been hearing that you make posts that say, "I especially want you to vote for me" is that true?
Q.3 Dent, what do you expect from being Mayor?
Q.4 Mellow, what is the most important thing/person/being in your campaign for mayor?
I believe some of our citizens would like to hear more about the candidates. So post your inquiry here! |

Umm..
1. Dent, Arthur, do you really believe that you should abolish the Cherry DUckies and destroy the Town of Odyssey, even if that means taking away your place as mayor and destroying the history of ToO?(If you become mayor)
2. Boy, Mellow, (Ok, don't ask me why I'm doing this...  ) do you think you really have the talent of being mayor? And what is your objective after you become mayor? (If you become mayor)
3. For both: what do you wish to do after either of you become mayor?
4. For both: do you think posting a lot is a good way to get support?  |

I have as much talent as anyone else running. In other words, quite enough. My objective is to save the Town of Odyssey and let is prosper and do my duty as a good mod.

Posting a lot of what? Posting things advertising your campaign is good. Posting bad things about your opponent and critisizing their campaign and platforms is definetly bad. |

um...what does the major actually get TO DO? or do they just have the honor and excitement of being important?

If you weren't "just saying it" then why did you say it to multiple people, if you ment it only one person then it might be true.
Oh, and to answer Samwise's question, yes it is true, he said it to me...somewhere around the Town of Odyssey...

I don't criticize my opponents' platforms because, as you know, they don't have any... (I'm sorry, was that a criticism? )
I will address those other issues in a later post... right now I have schoolwork to finish. (Yes, I have a life.) |

Currently, the Town of Odyssey is a pointless waste of server space. It is a digital creation, mere 0's and 1's, so I would not consider myself "destroy"ing the businesses and "burn"ing the town.
"I believe the Town of Odyssey has served its time and the people of these forums to the greatest extent possible. However, it is now a barren wasteland... of debates... and meaningless rhetoric... an empty shell... as futile... and irrelevant... as the United Nations."

Expect? You mean to gain, or to do? As a mod, I will:
1. Have limited power. Not sure what I'd do with the grand ability of editing posts, but it's kind of cool to have it anyway. I guess.
2. Be recognized as a public servant to those here in the Town Hall. I will advocate your wishes to the great Administrators and attempt to reform this great forum.
3. Using these, I will then try to realize the fulfillment of my prized "Pillars of Odyssey."
Uh. Yeah. I guess.

I fully believe in abolishing Cherry Duckies (not AI0 Digital). Personally, I much prefer Vanilla Duckies...
If the Great Administrators wish to, we can keep the old ToO transcripts as reference and cynical reminiscence of the "good ol' days." However, I would prefer it be kept on a separate page, thus not detracting from the real Town Hall.
And yes, I am willing to sacrifice my position to furthur my cause. I would like to get a few things done first as mayor though...

I believe I covered that in my reply to Samwise's question. If you wish me to expound on this further, I am willing to do so. (Especially if there's a point you're not sure about, and want me to clarify.)

No, it's not really that effective. But there's really no other way to.

Let me get this straight: You are running a platform based entirely off of mine? Meaning, your entire objective is to keep the status quo from being messed around by people like me?

From what I can tell, the answer is:
1. They get the position of moderator, meaning they can edit and delete posts and threads.
2. They get the title of mayor of Odyssey.
3. They "have the honor and excitement of being important." |

I have tried to ask everybody here (especially the new people) to vote for me. But only a select few, who I especially senced would be good supporters, I kept on asking.
oh heres a Q for Dent
If the Town of Odyssey closes what would you replace it with? |
