VOTE FOR THORIN, he's the best candidate to vote for! And he's got his trusty campaign manager, who won't ever betrayhim, and his supporters... If a supporter betrays a candidate, that means he isn't good for him... And for now, I don't think anybody has betrayed Thorin right??? Uhh.. I don't understand what I'm saying.
WELCOME, AND VOTE FOR THORIN! PLEASE! |

Okay---First of all-thanks everyone for the welcome!
Now as for the election--let me get this straight. Arthur Dent, if elected, will destroy the Town of Odyssey.....which is supposedly good, because it is no longer thriving. Thorin once elected, will not demolish it, and I do not know Mellow's ground, except that he is, um, mellow.
So if this is all correct--Arthur, what will you do with the town once you have destroyed it?
As for Thorin, if you want to keep the town alive, what are your plans to keep the economy booming? Any new bold ideas? (And since my bribe is in Monopoly money, if I vote for you-will someone play it with me? )
And lastly, Mellow, how exactly will your mellowness improve us all?
Can not wait to hear the candidate's grounds |

| Yes, I'll play a Monopoly game with you, jessicado- that happens to be one of my all-time favorite games. |

First of all, I am sorry to say I will not pay any of my voters any money. However, if you tell me that you voted for me after the election, I will send you a nice thank you PM.
It has not yet been determined exactly what, but we'll try to replace it with something better... I'll have to talk with my manager...
Vote for bringing back Politics 101, vote for closing the ToO, vote for killing the food, vote for abolishing the cherry duckies word filter, vote for restoring the Walczak - VOTE FOR ARTHUR DENT!!
That's my platform in a nutshell. |

Let me give you an example. In the last elections we had several people running who took the whole thing to seriesly. There were many mudslings and heated debates. Once the election was over it left lots of people angry and hurt resulting in the person who won to resign and this re-election to be set up.
If only everyone had been a little more mellow 8) and nice and friendly all this grief could have been spared. So thats the low down on the whole "mellowness" thing.
As for my stand on the future of the Town Of Odyssey, I am all for seeing it stay and, once I am voted in, flourish. This reminds me of the time Philip Glossman tried to tare down the "old" "useless" rec and community center in Odyssey. If he had succeded with this plan there would be no Whits End . So don't support the Glossmans of today! Support the people who stand for the mellowness of tomorrow!
Have a look at my headquaters to see the rest of what I stand for. http://townhall.aiosf.com/topic-1632-0.html]
If you wish to support me (and add your name to the Mellow Hall O' Fame) then go here http://townhall.aiosf.com/topic-1698-0.html
here is the headquaters of my trusty campaign manager

and if you have any questions you could PM or we could arrange a time to go on the chat so my fellow supporters and I would be very honored and pleased if you joined us. |
