I'm rolling! That was great! Although I doubt they'll do that. Way to expensive. |

The hairdos of the 60's through the 80's were the best! All of the old actors look SOO much better than the spikey haired gelled punks we have to put up with today!
And why would they need to reshoot it? If it's not broke, don't fix it. |

Yesss, it SO good to have you around again, AREM. This man knows what he's talking about.
I saw the DVD's as well, and yes, the quality is SO good it lookslike they could have been released today in the theatres.
I actually prefer my old VHS copies, though. |

But they still don't look like eps 1, 2, or what I've seen of 3. The old movies definatly don't have the massive, computer-game-like, plastic feel that the new ones do.
I do agree though that it would be an awful idea to re-make the old ones, since they are much more entertaining than the new ones (which should be based off the old ones, not the other way round) |

Well said Ferder, I agree in full.
The youth of today just dosen't have the patience for the drama of the old movies. I, however, am among the few who thrive off it. |

I would hate to see a remake of the classic Star Wars movies. I doubt that they would be popular because the old ones are well-loved, and the constant comparisons would make it hard for the new ones to compete. It's hard to improve on Harrison Ford! One hair-do that looks more like a breakfast food that a hairstyle is not a good enough reason to remake three great movies.
I watched the ep 3 trailer - it looks great! I can see why it's probably going to get a PG-13, though. |
