I forgive you.
But, with that laughing face beside your sorry, I'm not too sure about the sincerity in your apology. |

Concerning the allegations that I witnessed a terrorist plot (for the record, I have not been in New Jersey ever in my life!), joined Red Scorpion, was kidnapped by Uncle Charlie, was consumed by cannibalistic family members, kidnapped by aliens, caucused with cockroaches and was arrested as a time waster, was taken away by Bennett, engaged in useless non-activity (also known as sleep) for an inordinate amount of time, got hit by a worm (if a worm could knock me over, I'd hate to have to put it on a hook -- and I'd really hate to remove the hook from the mouth of the fish that swallows it!), had my modem unionize with my printer and motherboard and stage a walkout on me, was ousted by the newly-installed dictator Shadowpaw and etcetera...
THEY'RE ALL TRUE!
Okay, seriously, the true solution is a series of events:
On Monday evening, while conversing with Josiah, we suffered a power outage. The following day (yesterday) was a day of getting absolutely everything down - six hours of mowing, two of trimming, etc. - in preperation for leaving that night on a trip to Sandusky, Ohio.
I, shockingly, as Josiah put it, didn't have time to sign off and explain my coming, surely unauthorized, absense.
We stayed in Sandusky that night and arrived - with hour early entrance passes - at Cedar Point's gates at 8:30 AM. From there, I spent the entire day riding machines invented for the sole purpose of dislodging the brain from its normal place. It must have worked, as I am mentally troubled enough to have greatly enjoyed my time there.
We drove home this evening... and here I am. Back from a great day.
One closing observation directed at all you Ohioans: It has been my experience that the flatness of your land is only exceeded by that of the play of your pro football team. |

Top,
I must regretfully inform you (and believe me, I very much regret this) that I did not get to ride the Top Thrill Dragster.
(For those of you unfamiliar with the ride, it is a launch-style coaster that twice in the ride hits 120 miles per hour and which but a single hill - that hill being 420 feet tall and spiraling.)
Arriving in the park early, I raced for the line and actually was no worse than the 20th to 25th person in line. We got in at 9 AM with early entrance passes and that particular ride wasn't set to open until 10 AM, but that was fine. Since that ride regularly has lines of 4-6 hours, waiting an hour for it to open is certainly not a problem.
However, the "Dragster" has been experiencing all kinds of problems and by 10 AM, they hadn't even begun the hour long testing sequence. People were asking when it might start and the ride attendents had no idea. We left the line.
The finally started running it at 1 PM, which would have been a four hour wait if we stayed. We of course did not.
I rode all the other major rides - Millenium Force, Raptor, Magnum, Wicked Twister, Mantis and so on - and in the late afternoon, my dad and I returned to the Top Thrill Dragster line after it began running again. (After starting up at 1 PM, it had closed down again before 1:30 and hadn't started up again until slightly before we rejoined the line, somewhere around 5 PM. We got there rather fast and the line was no longer than an hour and a half, a very short wait for the line. Furthermore, they were running through the sequence quickly and the line was moving even faster than would normally be expected.
Then the ride broke down again, about twenty minutes after we got in line. We waited maybe 45 minutes to see if they repaired it and actually got quite close to the front in that time, because about half of the people in line exited. My dad wanted to leave, as he wanted to get home at an early hour, and I was begging him to stay a bit longer because if they did get the ride quickly repaired (and they kept saying it was minor and would be repaired soon), there'd be very few people left in front of us.
Unfortunately, after 45 minutes, the ride attendents started walking through the lines saying that it was more of a problem than they thought and they could not say when it might be running again. They assured us that they cannot close the park entirely until everyone rode the thing who got in line prior to 11 PM, so if we were willing to wait, we would get to go on it... even though that might well be at 2 AM.
We left.
It was a fun day, there were a lot of good rides... But I really hope they get the TTD running. From what I understand, it's been down more than its been up. And I really wanted to ride it! |

| Wow. I know they've been having a lot of trouble with that, but, I mean, only 2 people have died on it so far, it can't be THAT bad. It was pretty strange, cause when me and my fellow Top Crusader-ites went, we only had to wait like 45 minutes for that, and the Millenium Force, Wicked Twister, and other main attractions only like 20 minutes or less... and this was in the middle of July. Must have picked a good day to go, evidently, but I've never had such short waits there on the main rides ever before (though one summer we just kept running back to the start of the ride when we got off of the Corkscrew, cause the lines were a staggering 1 to 2 people deep up at the part where you get in the coaster). |

So they have a new ride now...
I shall be sure to investigate it, although, if the lines are anything like specified, than this may be rather difficult. However, it might be worth it, as the lines at the amusement park we usually visit pale in comparison (to say the least).
Interestingly enough, of all the various rides at said amusement park, the one I found to be the most enjoyable was the Raptor (perhaps because of it's unusual placement on the track) even though I am perfectly aware that there are many more interesting-and certainly thrilling-rides there. Oh well. |

Aww Jared you're no fun anymore
Here I was thinking something terrible had happened to you and come to find it, what you experienced is probably what a million other people have gone through.
On the other hand, I'm glad you're ok |
