Like many of you, at first I acted like I didn't have time for them. I saw clowns as just another annoyance, a flash in the pan of our society.

Then they were everywhere. I'd hear people talking about them everywhere, little kids on the playground, teens in the cyber lounges, salesman on the telephone and midgets... on the playground.

I would find excuses not to go to the circus, to funtime during VBT, and to Richard Simmons birthday party. I was sick, busy, had athletes foot, had to go to Paris, had to build that Atomic bomb- you know the routine.

I was living a lie.

I'm here today to tell you to guard yourself. Don't fall into the same trap that I have, if you haven't already.
In short:
Don't set fire to clowns at your cousin's birthday party. And definitely don't mail bombs to the Ringling Brothers.

My name is David, I need help.

BTW, I think this board is a great idea!

Oh, sorry to confuse you, this is just my introductory post, explaining why I'm here. You can start your own if you want.

Or everyone else can post why they're a part of CFA(Clown Fearers Anonymous) right here in my post.

No...but I'm scared of prune-eating weasel monkeys with chainsaws that watch Gilligan's Island. *shudder* Does that count?

Finally, I've found a group of people that understands me! I already attend MA-Megolomaniacs Anonymous- with my husband, but Clownophobia is much more serious than Megolomania.

Megolomania? I loved that game for the Atari! Ah... those flying hamburgers and bow ties and (was it cookies?) That game was so cool.

Clowns are wicked, like Mozart. When talking about Mozart my piano teacher compared him to Sweet Tooth from the Twisted Metal games- an insane clown with his hair on fire.

Another thing that scares me, more even than clowns, is Marshie the marshmallow from the Fluffy Puff Marshmallows advertisements.
AAAAAHHHHH, I shouldn't have thought of it!

*Curls up in a ball and says to self* That Marshmallow wants to kill me! HEEEEELLLLLLPPP!!

No, I'm going to kill you. I'm going to go back in time and kill your mom! Wait, wrong alter-ego. WHen I'm in my Terminator girl alter-ego is when you really have to watch out (j/k, just to keep from getting yelled at.)
