This particular board is.... stupid? It was fun for a while. I really think we should replace it. Or maybe just transform it. I never thought the elections were a great idea, anyway. But they were fun!
Jared: I am very sorry for any time I might have insulted you in the past. However, you must realize that people are NOT angry at you, like you claim. We were wrong to treat you that way, but do you mind looking at our perspective for a moment (or mine, anyway)? It might clear things up a bit.
Some people like teazing, mock anger, etc. Who do we teaze? Popular people, duh. Oh, and if that popular person is doing something slightly controversial? Well, then, why not jump in? You are so perfect to make fun of. Sure, when people teaze other people, other people will probably get offended, making the people think twice about teazing the other people. However, we can't exactly see how you react, we have no way of knowing if you are hurt, what you think we meant, etc. Plus, your a guy. Most guys are heartless. I think that maybe for some people, these things removed the automatic "think twice" habit that makes people cautious not to offend others. I know that doesn't make it right, and I'm very sorry. Maybe now you can understand why people seemed angry, annoyed you about minor details, and harrased you about pretty much everything?
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't mean most of what I say (yes, an extremely dishonest habit ), and I had no clue that you were insultable.
Also, my brother actually is cold and heartless. We went to a wedding, it was really awesome and sweet (the dresses were absolutely gorgeous), and the only thing my brother said was, "well, that's that." And I really think he actually meant it, you know, cause he like, never said anything else. The only time he displayed emotion that day was when he found out that a peacock had pecked a chicken to death nearby (outdoor wedding) and he hadn't seen it. Well, I like, understand that, because I so wish I had, like, seen it also. From what I heard, the bridesmaids got a great view. I guess I'm jealous. I wish I was a bridesmaid so I coulda seen it. And I wish that lady hadn't been screaching in the microphone at that particular moment, so I could have at least heard it. Other people did. I wish I could've. I have been emotionally traumatized and damaged by this horrible event (missing out on something like that!!! Can you beleive it?!?!?) and therefore am no longer responsible for my actions.
poor me. |

Just to let ya'all know...
I really, really, hope I haven't insulted anyone here...or offended them...whatever. If I have, let me know! The elections were lots of fun although there was rather conflicting opinions about people. (Is that what happens when you become popular?) Anyway....
Like I said earlier, I'm in favor of T.O.O. being taken away (sadly enough) IF there was something we could put in it's place!!
Oh yeah...and rosie, that must have been some impressive mishap there with a peacock (of all birds!) to peck to death a poor defenseless little chicken. And at a wedding!
Did any of this make any sense? ... I didn't think so.

don't worry, it makes sense.
Actually, I think only the bridesmaids saw it. My brother said they were making funny faces.... it was a remarkably unique wedding. And it was so hot outside that my two year old cousin stripped down to her diaper... sweat was dripping from the groom... people were dying... etc. The pianist and violinist were exceptional. At the reception, they played music with a family that the brides family met by ham radio... I have a REALLY bad habit of rambling. I'll stop now. |
